Q: I just downloaded the file (PC-Convey or PC-IFD) - now what do I do?
A: 1. Open the folder you downloaded the file to and run the .exe file. You may receive a message saying that the publisher could not be verified - if so, confirm that you want to run the software.
2. You will see the Winzip Self-extractor form. Without altering the folder to unzip to, click on "Unzip". A new folder will be created in "C:\Downloads\Integrity Software" and the files will be unzipped. You should receive a message saying that 4 files (for XP and Vista users) or 6 files (for other users) have been unzipped. Close the Winzip Self-extractor.
3. Run the "setup.exe" file in the relevant "C:\Downloads\Integrity Software\" folder. This will install the program, which can then be run from the START menu or the icon on the desktop.
The program will run in Demo mode until Registered with Integrity Software.
Q: Where do I find my PC-Convey/PC-IFD Installation Code?
A: The Installation Code is found under Help\About ..... on the toolbar menu.
Q: Where do I enter my PC-Convey/PC-IFD Registration Code?
A: The Registration Code is entered via Help\Register Product on the toolbar menu. When you Register the software, all of the features will be unlocked.
Q: Which operating systems does PC-Convey/PC-IFD run on?
A: Windows 7, Vista, XP, 98, 2000.
Q: Can PC-Convey/PC-IFD run on a 64 bit Operating System?
A: Yes, please download the 64 bit version from our download page.
Q: I have the software running on my PC, but it won't run on my laptop. What's going on?
A: The software runs on laptops as well as PCs. Make sure that you have downloaded the correct package (32 bit or 64 bit) for your laptop and PC.
Q: When installing the program, I received a message saying "This setup requires the DotNet Framework. Please see our website for details of how to obtain the DotNet Framework and then run this setup program again." What should I do now?
A: Applications written for the DotNet Framework (such as PC-Convey and PC-IFD) require certain files to be installed on the PC where the application runs. If your PC doesn't already have these files installed The DotNet Framework is available via this link and it is also included on the Program CD (if you purchased one).
Q: A message tells me I need the DotNet Framework V1 to be installed on my PC. I know that I have a later version, do I still need V1?
A: All versions of DotNet Framework are designed to work side by side, and one version should not interfere with another version. As PC-Convey & PC-IFD were developed using DotNet V1 it will work with later versions installed, but it does require V1 to be installed as well.
Q: How do I re-install DotNet Framework V1.0 when the V1.1.4322 folder exists on my PC?
A: Re-name the folder "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322" to, say, "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322 _old" (on the off chance that you need to recover it later), then install the DotNet Framework again. This will install a full version of the V1.0 Framework. You should then be able to install PC-Convey or PC-IFD. You can obtain the DotNet framework files via this link.
Q: I tried to re-install the DotNet Framework V1 on a Vista or a Windows 7 PC but it didn't work. What now?
A: If you are using Vista or Windows 7 some people have issues installing 1.1 after the later versions. Unfortunately, you will need to re-install all Versions in numerical order.
